The Spectrum X was specifically designed for crossbolts and installs to your bolt by cutting off approx. 3.4" (nock included - see Installation Demo on our Home page) from the nock end of your bolt and threads to the bolt via use of your bolt's required aluminum insert. The Spectrum X body design includes the proper radius to keep the bolt secure under your bow's bolt keeper. The Spectrum X features the standard 2.1" Fusion Vane from Norway and allows the crossbolt to be fired from the bow without interference from the rail. The bolt fires without the vane interfering because the vane base is under the surface of the fletch body. The under body capturing of the vane base through the design of the Spectrum X gives the high profile vane the clearance needed to allow bolt hunters to benefit from the Fusion design.
